Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups pitted and halved cherries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
