Cherry season is approaching and with this blog, we want to showcase how it’s going at the orchard. We cannot guarantee an exact date for when the cherries will be the ripest and therefore we want to keep you updated on the growing process of our cherries. Here you will see the most recent update on the cherry trees as if you were growing them in your backyard. We want to hear from you. As the weather remains unpredictable, cherry orchards face ongoing challenges. Cherries are delicate fruits that often suffer from adverse weather conditions. To prevent cherries from absorbing excess water

and splitting, methods such as using helicopters and tractors to blow off water are utilized. These techniques help protect the fruit and maintain its quality. We still have about one month left of cherry season and have to keep them afloat.

Cherry trees are not self-pollinators. Therefore, we have honey bees to help with the pollination of them. As the bees pollinate the cherry trees, we expect the trees to begin showing signs of cherries very soon. Stay tuned for more to come!
